Applying to CMP
Admission Requirements
Christian Experience: Applicants must have a definite Christian conversion experience for admission to the Center for Ministry Preparation. In addition, all students are encouraged to consistently practice their Christian faith for a period of one (1) year prior to their admission.
Educational Experience: Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
The Center for Ministry Preparation reserves the right to reject any application for any reason it may consider valid.
Admission Process
Applying for admission at the Center for Ministry Preparation is a very simple process. Students are accepted for matriculation for any semester in the academic year — Fall or Spring. Applications are not reviewed until all of the steps have been followed and all of the information received.
- Download the CMP Application or call and have a packet sent by mail. Once you have received the packet, fill out the enclosed application form and send it back to the institution. It’s important that the entire application be filled out. Leaving parts of it blank or not including requested information may result in the application being delayed or denied.
- Supply CMP with official transcripts of all prior academic work for schools previously attended. Official transcripts must be sent from the previously attended school to CMP directly. We are unable to accept transcripts from anyone but the prior institution. Be mindful that this can sometimes be a lengthy process, and most schools charge a small fee for the service. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Please have official copies of all transcripts sent directly from the issuing school(s) to:

- Submit the non-refundable $30 application fee with your application. Failure to submit the fee may result in the application being delayed or denied. Payment may be made by check, money order, credit card.
In rare situations, CMP may need additional information in order to process an Application for Admission. The school may request a personal interview or other information as a part of the admissions evaluation.
